Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern all cleaning bookings placed with Little A's Cleaning LLC. By booking a service you agree to the policies below.
1. Independent Service & Scheduling
Little A's Cleaning LLC provides residential, commercial, and short-term-rental turnover cleaning as an independent service provider. Your quote is built from the rooms, add-ons, package upgrades, frequency, and service ZIP code you select at booking.
Cleanings are scheduled inside arrival windows (Morning 8–11 AM, Mid-Day 11 AM–2 PM, Afternoon 2–5 PM, STR Turnover 11 AM–3 PM) rather than exact times. Your assigned cleaner confirms an exact estimated arrival time within that window. Traffic, weather, and prior-job conditions may shift arrival inside the window.
We are insured and every team member is background checked. Cleaning supplies and equipment are provided unless agreed otherwise in writing. Little A's Cleaning LLC may assign, reassign, or substitute a qualified cleaner for any booking.
2. 24-Hour Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
Cancellations and reschedules made more than 24 hours before your arrival window are free of charge.
Cancellations or reschedules made less than 24 hours before your arrival window are subject to a $50 late-cancellation fee, charged to the card on file.
Client lockouts — no entry access at the scheduled arrival window, an incorrect key code, an inaccessible lockbox, or an unsecured animal preventing safe entry — are billed at 50% of the total booking amount, because the cleaner's reserved time cannot be resold.
Recurring plans follow the same 24-hour rule for each individual visit. Skipping a visit does not change the discount tier of the remaining visits.
3. 24-Hour Satisfaction Guarantee & Re-Clean Policy
If something was missed, report it within 24 hours of service completion at hello@littleascleaningllc.com or (616) 420-4636, and include clear photos of the specific areas of concern.
Approved reports receive a free re-clean of the affected areas, scheduled at the earliest mutually available time — typically within 3 business days.
The guarantee covers work inside the scope you selected and paid for. It does not cover rooms, surfaces, or add-ons that were not part of the booking.
We do not issue direct cash refunds in lieu of a re-clean. Declining an offered re-clean waives the guarantee for that visit. Reports made after 24 hours cannot be verified and are not eligible.
4. Property Damage & Liability Cap
Suspected damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion, with photos, so it can be documented and reviewed through our insurance. Reports after that window cannot be attributed to a cleaning and are not eligible.
Verified damage caused by our team is repaired, replaced, or reimbursed at fair market value. Total liability for any single booking is capped at the total amount paid for that booking, except where a greater amount is required by law or covered under our insurance policy.
We are not responsible for: pre-existing damage, normal wear and aging finishes; items that fail during ordinary cleaning such as unstable or improperly mounted wall hangings, mirrors, shelves, and unsecured décor; unsealed or improperly sealed stone, grout, marble, granite, and natural wood surfaces that react to standard cleaning products; loose fixtures, hardware, and appliances already in disrepair; and carpet, textile, or upholstery reactions on materials whose care requirements were not disclosed.
High-value items — art, antiques, electronics, collectibles, designer textiles, and heirlooms — must be disclosed in writing before service. Undisclosed high-value items are excluded from coverage. Please secure cash, jewelry, firearms, medication, and irreplaceable items before your cleaning.
5. Biohazard & Safety Restrictions
Our teams do not clean unattended bodily fluids, blood, vomit, urine, feces (human or animal), used needles or drug paraphernalia, or crime- and trauma-scene residue. These require licensed remediation.
We do not service homes with severe pest or vermin infestations — including bed bugs, roach infestations, fleas, or rodent droppings — or with mold growth beyond routine surface mildew.
We do not perform hazard cleanup that is not explicitly contracted, including hoarding conditions, post-construction debris removal, asbestos, lead paint, chemical spills, sewage backup, fire or smoke damage, or crawlspace and attic remediation.
Cleaners may stop work and leave if they encounter any of the above, an unsafe structure, extreme temperatures, aggressive animals, harassment, intoxication, or any threat to their safety. In these cases the visit is billed at 50% of the total booking amount and the balance of the scope is not performed.
6. Quotes & Scope Adjustments
Quotes assume standard home conditions. If your home needs materially more work than the selected scope — heavy build-up, excessive clutter, or unselected rooms — your cleaner sends a scope adjustment request with the added amount for your approval before continuing.
You are never charged an adjustment you did not approve. If you decline, we complete as much of the original scope as the reserved time allows.
7. Payment, Deposits & Tips
One-time bookings collect a deposit at checkout and securely save your card on file. The remaining balance is charged only after your cleaning is marked complete or an approved scope adjustment is finalized. Recurring plans bill automatically each cycle until canceled.
Card details are handled entirely by our PCI-compliant payment processor; Little A's Cleaning LLC never sees or stores your card number.
100% of any tip you add goes directly to your cleaner with no platform cut. Promotional discounts are a company marketing expense and never reduce cleaner pay.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking governs that booking. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
